The piano/keyboard is a versatile instrument that offers melody, harmony, and rhythm. If the student is unsure what instrument to learn, the piano is an excellent choice. If sound and budget are issues, the beginner student can start with a keyboard. For intermediate students, an 88-weighted keyboard with touch-sensitive keys that feel and sound like a piano is best. Of course, an acoustic piano is excellent if that is your preference.
Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.
We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.
