Julia studied at the Holy Names College in Oakland, CA for music and at Berkeley School of Theology for Liturgical Music. While there Julia studied privately. She has taught voice, piano, flute, and guitar since 1990. Julia was a Liturgical Music Minister in the Catholic Church, directing choirs and cantering for over 25 years. She has also performed in many musical shows in the Bay Area for community theaters and has received Superior Awards from the CMEA association. She has performed (and continues to) for weddings, parties, and other special gatherings. She is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers where she is an Adjudicator. Her styles include classical, jazz, Contempoary Christian, gospel, rock, swing, big band, pop, standards, reggae, Broadway, and more.
