Rudrani, who goes by "Ru," is a dynamic singer-songwriter known for her powerhouse vocals and a unique blend of funk, R&B, and soul. She grew up in a musical environment where she acquired a passion for music at a young age. Rudrani began her studies with the Suzuki method for violin when she was only three and toured from age five with her family until she was sixteen when she went to college. In 1984, Rudrani moved to Nashville and started her professional musical career by performing in bands, songwriting, and recording lead and background vocals with multiple artists. Most recently and to the present, she founded and performed in a band that perfectly complements her vocal style and artistic vision. Their synergy on stage is palpable, delivering high-energy shows that resonate with audiences. Along with her passion for performing, writing, and recording, she also loves sharing her music with others and watching them learn and grow.
