Dana attended Columbus State University for one semester, then transferred to and graduated from Georgia State University in Milledgeville, GA, in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Music Therapy. While there, she took seven semesters of voice lessons, played the guitar for four years, and ukulele for three years, and performed in choirs and ensembles. She was also on the dean's list and received awards for outstanding research and music therapy. Dana continued her education to receive a Masters in Special Education from Liberty University in 2024. Dana has been teaching since 2017 and offers classical and contemporary styles.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
