Rachel is an accomplished performer and educator based in Lagrangeville, New York. She graduated in 2009 from the prestigious Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ with a Bachelor in Musical Theater/Voice Performance. Her elite training also includes acting studies at Primary Stages in NYC and dance training at Astoria Fine Arts Dance.
An active professional in the industry, Rachel has performed at Carnegie Hall and in numerous Off-Broadway productions. Her major stage roles include Laurey in Oklahoma, Marian in The Music Man, Sylvie in The Odd Couple, and Maria in The Sound of Music. In addition to her stage work, Rachel is an active composer and has appeared on television, recently featured in an episode of Blue Bloods on CBS.
Teaching since 2012, Rachel offers expert instruction in Opera, Musical Theater, Pop, and Country. She also provides piano instruction, leveraging her extensive university proficiency training. Rachel's outgoing personality and professional experience make her lessons inspiring for students of all ages who want to master vocal technique and stage presence.
Rachel teaches from a designated studio in her Lagrangeville home (SE of Poughkeepsie). The space is designed for professional learning, featuring a separate waiting area for parents and students.
Equipment: The studio is equipped with a full-size keyboard, acoustic guitar, and specialized mirrors for vocal students to monitor technique and posture.
