Steve graduated from State University New York in White Plains, NY in 2018 with a Bachelor in Jazz Performance in 2018. He continued his education to receive a Masters in Music from CUNY Queens in Flushing, NY in 2020. Steve has been a professional musician since the late 1990's and has appeared in jazz festivals in Europe, Australia and the United States. Since relocating to New York, Steve has been the principle bassist on Broadway NYC and held several jazz residencies at clubs and hotels in and around the NYC area for multiple venues and styles. Steve has been teaching since 1998 and currently teaches in the public schools. He offers jazz, classical rock, pop, Afro, Cuban, Bossa Nova, blues, country, and funk.
