She began playing piano at the age of six and took lessons for ten years from a local instructor, and began harp at the age of fifteen, studying for two years from a gifted harp instructor from China. Soon after studying harp, she began playing professionally for weddings and local events. Stacie has been teaching since 2007, and offers most contemporary styles and light classical, traditional and by ear.
