A Latin Grammy Nominee and world-class musician with degrees from conservatories in Argentina and Cuba.
Julio was born in Argentina and began his musical career at a young age. He graduated from the Popular Music School "La Colmena" in Cordoba before moving to New York City at 18 to study with jazz legends like Donny McCaslin. He furthered his studies at the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba.
Julio has an impressive international career, having lived and recorded albums in Madrid, Spain. Upon returning to NYC in 2007, he created two albums that were both nominated for Best Tango Album at the Latin Grammy Awards.
He has been teaching since 1997 and brings a wealth of performance experience to his students, offering instruction in classical, jazz, Latin, tango, and South American styles.
Julio teaches Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute. He customizes lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced professionals looking to refine their style.
