Carlos first graduated from the Austin Community College in Austin TX in 2016 with an AA in Science in Music Business Performance and Technology. He continued at the Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor in Science in Sound Recording Technology with a minor in jazz piano. Starting at the age of 13 on guitar, he's been on an eclectic musical journey from hard rock and metal to the blues, 60's/70's, and finally, jazz while in college. Carlos began teaching in 2014 and offers all styles. Along with teaching, he continues to perform in multiple genres as well as engineering and recording multiple album projects.
