Katrina

Katrina is an accomplished pianist, organist, and educator with a deep-rooted passion for music. She graduated from Natchitoches State University in 2007 with a Bachelor in Education and furthered her academic career at the same institution to earn a Masters in Education in General Studies. Growing up in a musical family and a vibrant church community, Katrina began her formal piano training at just five years old and continued her studies through her collegiate years.

With a career that began in the late 1990s, Katrina has extensive experience as both a performer and a teacher. In high school, she served as the primary accompanist for the chorus, and she has spent decades performing for various church congregations. Her versatility as a musician allows her to offer expert instruction in a wide array of styles, including Classical, Jazz, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Pop, and R&B.

Katrina is known for her outgoing and warm personality, which helps create an engaging and encouraging environment for her students. She focuses on building a solid technical foundation while tailoring her teaching approach to the individual goals and interests of each student, ensuring that learning music remains an inspiring and joyful experience.
