Kathi grew up in a musical family and performed as a child. She began her private study on the piano in middle school. Kathi attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, as a piano performance major from 1980 to 1982. She took time off from school to perform and tour with a Christian Rock band, then later continued her education at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music from 1986 to 1989. Kathi has taught private piano and voice since 1985 and offers jazz, classical, pop, rock, and R&B styles for both traditional and by ear.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice. Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
