Cecelia studied privately for nine years from a professional, degreed piano instructor. She attended and studied privately on piano for two years at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA and one year at Washington Bible college in Lanham, MD. After that, she studied privately for five years total from three separate professors from Washington College in Chestertown, MD. She also studied for one year on organ from a degreed instructor. Cecelia is 4th generation musician in her family, and since the age of 5, was singing harmonies. She began formal lessons at the age of 8. During her childhood and throughout college, she has competed and performed. Cecelia continues to perform in church. She began teaching in 1975 for all ages and all styles, from classical to contemporary/Christian styles.
