North has been a professional musician and instructor since the mid 1960's, performing with well known musician in a plethora of venues. He attended the Atlanta Institute of Music for 2 years in Guinnett, GA, which Included theory, ear training, scales, and technique. He's both a by ear musician and has the ability to read music. He offers rock, R&B, soul, dance, disco, funk, and jazz styles.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
