Jonathan earned a bachelor's and a Master of Music in violin performance at James Madison University. He received his D.M.A. at the Catholic University of America. While in college, Jonathan taught violin privately and in small groups. He was also a teaching assistant in the Catholic University of America music theory department from 2013 to 2017. Some of the honors Jonathan has received include becoming a member of Pi Kappa Lambda- Music Honor Society in 2010, the National Honors Society in 2004, and he has been a member of the Baltimore Music Teachers Association in 2018. Jonathan*s performance experience includes playing in several musicals with various theater and ensemble groups since 2016. Jonathan began teaching in 2010 and offers Suzuki and other methods. Since 2011, Jonathan has performed for weddings, parties, concerts, musicals, and ensembles. He has also served as concertmaster for the Baltimore Philharmonic Orchestra. Jonathan has also participated in music festivals. He uses a systematic approach to help the students learn how to play the violin and reach their goals over time. Jonathan offers classical and contemporary styles.
