Erik is currently attending Odessa College in Odessa TX towards an associate's degree in music. He has completed all the music courses and is studying classical and jazz guitar. Expected graduation date of May 2023. His musical career started in 2010 when he became interested in music, analyzing the musicians from his church. He started learning on his own before studying privately. In 2021, he was hired by the West Texas Jazz Society to perform. He performs in two bands, one being an acoustic trio while also performing regularly at his church. Erik began teaching in 2021 and found his second passion. His styles include classical, jazz, R&B, funk, rock, pop, and Contemporary Christian Music.
