Sam

Sam is a professional guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer based in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Denver in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Recording and Production with a Jazz Guitar Emphasis. Prior to completing his degree at DU, Sam also attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music and New York University (NYU), gaining a diverse and high-level musical education across some of the world's leading institutions.

His journey with the guitar began in 2008, where he spent four years in rigorous private study, including a foundation in classical guitar. He later expanded his expertise into jazz, rock, and pop music under the guidance of various professional instructors. Since performing his first professional gigs in 2016, Sam has become a staple of the touring circuit. He currently leads his own rock band as a guitarist and vocalist, while also handling the composition and production of their recordings. His work has been featured in several music magazines and has received airplay on numerous radio stations.

Teaching since 2018, Sam is known for his easygoing and patient personality. In addition to his own performing career, he manages and produces another touring band, bringing a comprehensive "industry-insider" perspective to his students. He offers expert instruction across an exceptionally wide range of styles, including Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Reggae, Ska, Metal, Funk, Country, R&B, and World music.
