John graduated from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie NY for three years towards a Bachelor in Liberal Arts Science. He currently attends the State University of New York in Harrison, NY towards a Bachelor in Jazz Studies with an expected graduation date of May 2021. John has been playing and studying the drum set since 2011 and has worked as a local musician in Dutchess County, NY, and the Hudson Valley since 2016. He has been a member of the Purchase Latin Jazz Orchestra since 2019 as a percussionist. He began teaching in 2018 and offers jazz, rock, funk, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian styles, among other styles.
