Deanna graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM in 1992 with a Bachelor in English/Psychology. She's began playing the piano at the age of eight, and has studied privately since 2001, and taught since 2002. Deanna offers classical, blues, various rhythm styles like ragtime, Bossa Nova, pop, and folk styles.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
