David
David is a guitar teacher and offers guitar lessons in Duluth GA and Atlanta GADavid started playing the guitar at 12 years old. He began classical guitar in high school, studying under a professional instructor, then began studying jazz at the local junior college, performing in their jazz ensemble and combos. David went on to graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, IL in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also performed at UIC in Jazz Ensembles and Combos. In 1995 David also attended the Jamey Abersold Jazz Clinic, seminars and combo performance. He's been teaching privately and in music studios since 1997. David has been a part of the Chicago Jazz scene for the last 11 years, performing in clubs, corporate events, restaurants, art openings, fashion shows, cafes, pit orchestras and fill-in-work. His styles include jazz, rock, pop, blues, and classical.
