Dana received a Bachelor of Music Education with K-12 Certification from UNO in 1982, then went on to receive his Master of Music for Piano Performance from UNO in 1986. He's been teaching since 1985 and teaches piano, voice, guitar and composition. Dana is presently the leader of two performing groups and one is with the NAC Touring Program. Dana also teaches at local community colleges and studios and was awarded the Who's Who Among American Teachers. He was commissioned to write for several productions and has directed various shows and musical groups. Dana was accepted in the Nebraska Arts Council program where he attended many workshops. His styles include classical, pop, blues and jazz.
