A highly experienced educator with a Master of Music degree and over 35 years of teaching experience.
Dana is a distinguished music educator with a deep passion for teaching. He received his Bachelor of Music Education with K-12 Certification from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 1982, and went on to earn his Master of Music for Piano Performance from UNO in 1986.
He has been teaching privately since 1985, covering piano, voice, guitar, and composition. Beyond private lessons, Dana teaches at local community colleges and studios and has been honored with the "Who's Who Among American Teachers" award.
Dana is also an active performer and leader. He currently leads two performing groups, one of which is part of the NAC Touring Program. He has been commissioned to write for several productions, has directed various shows, and was accepted into the Nebraska Arts Council program.
Dana's styles include Classical, Pop, Blues, and Jazz. He describes his personality as outgoing and strives to help students reach their full musical potential.
Studio Equipment: Grand piano, digital recorder, full recording studio with mastering software, keyboards, and various electric and acoustic guitars.
