Charity started playing the piano at age four and fell in love with music! At age eleven, she began lesson, and studied for six years. Within a year of starting lessons, she was playing specials for church and the main services, including composing and arranging the songs. Charity began teaching in 1996 out of a love for playing, but found she loved teaching as much as playing. She filled up a full roster of students just by word of mouth, and has been teaching ever since. Many of her students have gone on to college on scholarship to make music or music education their career, much in part to Charity's wonderful teaching. In 1997-98, Charity taught at Westin Arts Academy in Ft. Collins. Along with teaching, Charity continues to perform locally as soloist and accompanist. Charity offers classical, sacred, most contemporary styles, improvisation, composing, sight reading, theory, and ear training.
