Brian studied privately from professors at Berkeley City College and San Francisco State University as well as other professional instructors. He's been playing since 2000. Brian currently plays guitar in a local band that performs regularly, and teaches guitar, flute, piano, keyboard, drums, and bass guitar. Along with performing and recording, Brian is also a songwriter. Brian has been teaching since 2008, and his styles include rock, pop, modern, R&B, blues, folk, metal, and ambient.
