Alecia began playing and studying piano at the age of eight. While in high school, she was a featured soloist in their choir performances. Alecia received a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Western Kentucky in 2001, and began teaching in 2001 while she attended college. Since then, Alecia has directed performances and concerts, and prepared some of her students for all-state choir auditions and performances. She also created and organized a piano keyboard program, which she used to teach keyboard classes, along with teaching privately, and has taught KinderMusik to preschool ages. Alecia offers classical, jazz, pop, and most contemporary styles.
