Emmy grew up in a musical home and started singing and studying piano as a child. She continued through high school, where she discovered her passion for songwriting. Emmy graduated from the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega, GA in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (concentrations in Piano and Voice). Then in 2013, she continued to receive a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification. She was winner of the 2014 John Jarrard Foundation Songwriting Contest and has professionally recorded three EPs. She has performed in notable venues in Atlanta and opened for a touring band. Emmy began teaching in 2010. Along with teaching, she continues to perform, write songs, and record. Emmy offers classical for all instruments, pop, musical theater, folk, and composition.
