Pija (pronounced PEE yuh) attended the Hogeschool Utrecht in the Netherlands for Flute Performance and Education in 2011, then graduated from the Academy of Music Ljubljana in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2012 with a degree as an Academic Musician and Flute Professor. She then continued at the ZUYD University, Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands, with a Master of Music in Flute Performance in 2015. Additional education includes Federation International Willems Ljubljana/Lyon, Edgar Willems Music Pedagogy, 2016-2017, and the Waldorf Institute Specialization, 2019-2020. Pija also studied classical and jazz singing for two years. Pija began teaching in 2009 for ages 3 and up and has had the privilege to work with amazing students; some have continued a career in music and have won numerous competitions. She offers classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk, and children's music.
