Benjamin started drums at the age of 3 when he set up pots and pans on his kitchen floor. He began private lessons at the age of 5 until age 16 for a variety of instruments. He later picked up stringed instruments, mandolin, guitar and banjo. Benjamin started teaching professionally in 2017, privately and for an after school program for two schools in Brooklyn for the K-5th grade students. Benjamin has performed and toured with a band since 2016 and has been a studio musician since 2014. He offers jazz, rock, funk, bluegrass, country, folk, Irish/Celtic, and Old Time styles.
