Bella has been involved in choirs and bands her entire life. She began her formal music studies in 2013 at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA, including private vocal study. During her year and a half there, she was involved with The Grinnell Singers, The Grinnell Symphonic Band, and was a member of the college*s Music Student Education Policy Committee. She then transferred to and currently attends University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in Baltimore, MD, where she is pursuing her BA in Vocal Performance with an expected graduation date of May 2019. She is also a member of the UMBC Camerata Chamber Choir, where she holds positions as both General Manager and Soprano Section Leader. She is also involved in university*s Opera Workshop program, where she has sung the role of Rosalinda from "Die Fledermaus". In the summer of 2017. Bella also performed a major role in the Little Patuxent Opera Institute*s production of "Too Many Sopranos", where she portrayed the character Madame Pompous. In the fall of 2017. Bella was selected by the UMBC music department to sing the National Anthem at both the university*s undergraduate and graduate Fall Commencements. Bella began teaching friends and family before college and has taught professionally since 2018. She offers classical and most contemporary styles.
