David grew up in a musical family and starting in 1994 was trained by his father, who was a professional musician. In high school, he took a piano and guitar class and studied privately. He has performed in bands as lead guitarist since the mid 1990's and toured throughout the eastern United States. In 2013, he joined a Country Rock band that opened for major national country acts. He's currently the music leader at his church. David began teaching in 2003 and offers gospel, Contemporary Christian, rock, punk, metal rock, country, and folk styles.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.
