Rusty received a Bachelor in music for guitar performance/composition in 2014 from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. While at the university, he played guitar in the jazz band and double bass in the orchestra. He also studied and teaches the piano, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin. After graduating, Rusty performed as a guitarist on cruise ships from 2014-2016. Rusty began teaching in 2010, and found a love for teaching, as well as performing.
