Risk-Free Start

The Grace Period: You have a one business-day grace period after your first lesson to cancel for any reason.

Your first lesson is guaranteed—if you cancel because you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. We want to make sure you are 100% happy with your instructor match before charging your card.

Note: Your card information is required at sign-up, but will not be charged until the following business day if you continue. If you cancel for any other reason, you'll only be charged for the one lesson.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Ongoing Lessons: Once you continue, you can cancel any time with a 30-day notice. Please email the office to submit your notice. You'll receive a confirmation for the cancelation and final billing.

Missed Lessons:

Tuition & Billing

Flat Rate Tuition: Tuition is charged at a flat monthly rate based on a four-week month, regardless of whether the month has 4 or 5 weeks. The "5th lesson" in longer months is used to offset holidays and instructor vacation time. This can be scheduled directly with your instructor. If the 5th lessons are not applied to lessons, they will be billed in the month of December.

Billing Cycle: Tuition is charged to the card on file on the 1st of each month. The first month will be prorated based on your start date. If you need a different billing cycle, please work that out at the time of your enrollment.

*All payments must be made directly to Melody Music Studios. Please do not pay instructors directly.

Referrals & Instructor Changes

Switching Instructors: You can request a new instructor at any time. If the switch is due to dissatisfaction (with a valid reason), the 30-day notice requirement is waived.

Referral Bonus: We love referrals! Receive a $10 credit on your account for every student you refer who signs up. Your friend will also receive $10 off their first month!

In-Home Logistics

For lessons given in your home, please allow a 15-minute arrival window (before or after scheduled time) to account for traffic or weather conditions.
