A distinguished tenor and Doctor of Musical Arts with international performance experience.
Juan holds a Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate of Musical Arts (D.M.A) in Voice Performance from the University of South Carolina. He has been teaching privately since 2000, offering instruction in both English and Spanish.
Juan has performed extensively in Opera, Oratorio, and Concerts across the United States, Europe, and South America. He was a member of the National Opera Company of Costa Rica for three years and was the winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (South Carolina District) in 2006.
His impressive resume includes roles such as Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfredo in La Traviata, Don Jose in Carmen, and the title role in Faust. He continues to share his passion for vocal excellence with students of all levels.
Juan teaches Voice (all levels) and Piano (Beginner/Intermediate). He is also available to teach Music Theory and Music Appreciation.
Languages: Teaches fluently in English and Spanish.
Travels: Up to 15 miles from Northeast Columbia.
