Amanda is a highly accomplished musician who holds both a Bachelor of Music (1999) and a Master of Music (2003) from Louisiana State University. Raised in a musical family, she began her piano studies as a child under the mentorship of her mother, a professional music educator. This lifelong immersion in music led her to master the piano by the early 1980s and the guitar by the late 1990s.
Currently serving as a singer and composer for praise and worship music, Amanda is a regular performer at local events and special ceremonies. Her professional teaching career began in 1999 and includes extensive experience coaching musicians for high-stakes auditions, professional careers, and university-level performance.
Amanda specializes in Classical/Opera, Broadway, Country, Gospel, and Contemporary Christian music. Her pedagogy emphasizes healthy vocal production, precise diction, emotional interpretation, and professional performance techniques, ensuring a comprehensive education for every student.
Amanda provides expert instruction in Voice (All Levels) and Piano (Beginner to Intermediate). She believes that a strong technical foundation is the key to artistic confidence. Her lessons are available at her private studio in Franklin or through high-definition online sessions.
