Taylor graduated from the world-renowned Blackbird Academy in Nashville, TN, with a degree in Audio Engineering. This technical background gives her a unique perspective on vocal production and guitar tone, allowing her to help students not just play music, but understand the recording arts.
She has been studying voice and guitar privately for over a decade and began her teaching career in 2017. As an active Nashville songwriter, Taylor has co-written with industry leaders and recently directed her own EP of original music.
Taylor specializes in Country, Pop, Gospel, R&B, and Light Jazz. Her teaching style is described as outgoing and friendly, focusing on building confidence alongside technical proficiency.
Taylor teaches from her professional home studio in Southeast Nashville (near Old Hickory Blvd). She provides a separate teaching room and a comfortable waiting area for families. Her lessons are tailored to help each student find their unique "voice" on their instrument.
