Emily is a distinguished saxophonist and educator based in Minneapolis. She holds a Bachelor of Music from St. Norbert College, a Master of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
Dedicated to the advancement of her instrument, Emily has participated in major commissioning projects to promote underrepresented composers. She has performed with prestigious organizations including the American Saxophone Academy and the Minnesota Music Educators Association.
An acclaimed soloist and chamber musician, Emily was awarded first prize in the Richard Chandler YouTube Recording Competition and is a prize winner of the Schubert Club Woodwind Competition. She brings this elite level of technical mastery to every student she teaches.
