Julio is an internationally acclaimed musician and educator born in Argentina. He graduated from the Popular Music School "La Colmena" in Cordoba before studying with jazz legends in New York City and furthering his education at the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba.
His professional career includes international recording and performance in Madrid, Spain, and NYC. In 2007, Julio produced two albums that achieved Latin Grammy Award nominations for Best Tango Album. This world-class experience allows him to offer unparalleled insights into performance and musicality.
Teaching since 1997, Julio specializes in Jazz, Classical, Latin, and Tango. He helps students master woodwind technique while developing a deep understanding of South American rhythms and global musical styles.
Julio teaches Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute from his studio in Hoboken. He believes in a customized approach, tailoring his curriculum to match the proficiency level and musical interests of each student, from early beginners to professional players.
