Carol's journey with the piano began at age eight, leading her to study with distinguished pianists throughout her professional training. As a competitive teen performer, she won the All-City Piano Contest in Chicago and was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Chicago Tribune Piano Contest.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from California State University, complemented by a BA from the University of Illinois and dual Master of Arts degrees in History and Education from the University of California. Carol remains active in the global musical community, attending worldwide pedagogy conferences to integrate the latest teaching trends into her studio.
A long-standing member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC), Carol’s students frequently excel in the Certificate of Merit program. She is also a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers and the Music Teachers National Association, bringing a legacy of excellence to every student she mentors.
