Dana is a distinguished music educator with a deep passion for teaching. He received his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 1982, and earned his Master of Music for Piano Performance from UNO in 1986.
Since 1985, Dana has provided expert private instruction in piano, voice, guitar, and composition. His excellence in education has been recognized with the "Who's Who Among American Teachers" award. Beyond the private studio, he has shared his expertise as a faculty member at local community colleges.
An active performer and leader in the Nebraska arts community, Dana leads two performing groups and is a member of the NAC Touring Program. He is a prolific composer and director, frequently commissioned for theatrical productions across the region.
