Annalisa is an internationally recognized performer and educator who teaches several plucked string instruments, including Classical and Baroque Guitars, Ukulele, Theorbo, and Cittern. She holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory and Bard College, and was mentored for twenty years by the Head of Early Music at Juilliard.
A successful recording artist, Annalisa's first live solo album reached the No. 8 spot on the Billboard Traditional Classical chart. She has won five grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and initiated the Cosmos Club Concerts in Washington, D.C.
Annalisa has been teaching since 1993 and has developed a unique approach to the Suzuki Guitar Method, specializing in classical, baroque, and contemporary styles. Her world-class training allows her to provide elite instruction to students ranging from young beginners to professional-level performers.
