Marco is a distinguished clarinetist and educator with an elite academic background, currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at the University of Minnesota. He holds a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan. His foundation was built at the Taipei National University of the Arts, making him a truly global musician.
With an impressive performance resume, Marco has served as Associate Principal and Clarinetist for prestigious ensembles including the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. He has worked under world-renowned conductors such as Jaap van Zweden and Valery Gergiev, performing in major productions ranging from Mahler symphonies to classic operas like Tannhäuser and Hansel and Gretel.
Teaching since 2016, Marco is an expert at guiding students through the ABRSM examination process and developing fundamental skills in both Clarinet and Piano. He excels at tailoring his curriculum to the unique learning styles of his students, whether they are young beginners or advanced adults. Marco brings a wealth of professional insight, technical mastery, and a passion for musical growth to every lesson.
Marco teaches from a professional environment in Minneapolis and is an expert in high-quality online instruction. He also travels up to 50 miles from the Minneapolis area to the student's home.
