Liz is a multi-talented drummer, clinician, author, and audio engineer. A 1978 graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, she has spent decades refining her craft as both a performer and a songwriter. She is a published author with Alfred Publishing and an award-winning jingle writer.
As a world-class percussionist, Liz has extensive touring experience with renowned musicians and major production companies. She developed a revolutionary drum charting method book endorsed by industry legends such as Remo, Vic Firth, and Louie Bellson. Her expertise has been featured in leading publications like Drum! Magazine and Rhythm Magazine.
Teaching since 1978, Liz offers expert instruction in all contemporary styles, including jazz and classical. She is passionate about guiding the next generation of musicians through piano, drum, and music software education.
Liz teaches from a spacious 25x17 professional home studio in Charlotte, TN. Her studio serves as a full recording environment equipped with a weighted 88-key keyboard, a professional drum set, and a complete recording setup with the latest music software.
