Sam graduated with a **Percussion Performance** degree from **Eastern Washington University** in 1992. A dedicated music educator since 1991, she brings a massive depth of "real-world" performance experience into her studio, ranging from symphonic ensembles to contemporary bands throughout the Spokane area.
Her distinguished professional background includes **16 years with the Air National Guard band**, a role demanding absolute technical precision and disciplined ensemble mastery. Sam is a pillar of the local music scene, having served on the boards of the Professional Musicians union and Musicfest Northwest, ensuring her students receive instruction grounded in the highest professional standards.
Beyond performance, Sam is deeply connected with educational centers and instrument experts in the community. She offers master-level instruction in **Drums, Percussion, and Piano**, tailoring her encouraging approach to the individual goals of students of all ages and skill levels.
