Roger is a highly respected drummer and percussionist with over 30 years of professional experience. His career has taken him around the globe, performing and recording with international name artists including Janiva Magness, Peter Frampton, and Bobby Kimball (Toto).
Roger's talent has been featured on television soundtracks for NBC, CBS, and FOX, and he has contributed to numerous recording projects across all genres. His technical proficiency and versatile style have made him a sought-after clinician and private instructor throughout Southern California.
Teaching since 1995, Roger specializes in Rock, Jazz, Big Band, Blues, Latin, and Funk. His approach is rooted in solid technical foundations—including reading, rudiments, and hand-to-foot coordination—while always keeping the joy of performance at the forefront of every lesson.
Roger teaches from a professional home studio in Carlsbad, CA. He believes in a tailored approach for every student, whether they are a young beginner or an adult looking to refine professional skills. Roger is also available for in-home lessons throughout North County San Diego.
