Carlos earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from The Florida State University in 2006. As a professional musician, he has served as a percussion accompanist for prestigious modern and African dance programs at institutions like The Ohio State University, FSU, and BalletMet.
Since 2006, Carlos has provided drum set and percussion instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. His background is deeply rooted in performance, having collaborated with ensembles across nearly every genre. Currently, he remains an active performer in several Nashville-area bands.
Beyond his technical expertise, Carlos is the founder of a community-based group drumming program focused on wellness. He is known for a patient, highly adaptable teaching style that prioritizes the student's unique musical goals.
Carlos teaches from a dedicated home studio in Pegram (Southwest of Nashville), featuring a separate room and professional entrance. The studio is equipped with multiple acoustic and electronic drum sets, hand percussion, and a recording setup running Logic Pro X.
Travel: Carlos also travels for in-home lessons throughout Pegram, Bellevue, and Kingston Springs.
