Karen's Bio:
Karen graduated from Montclair State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Music and Math. She began playing organ and singing at the age of five and participated in choirs from the 7th grade through college. In high school, Karen sang in an acapella choir called the Bell Cantos, an exclusive choir, and performed in Carmen for the New Jersey State Opera Festival. Karen began private lessons during high school for many years on organ and voice, studying all styles, and began singing professionally at age 21. She has been on the road singing with a nationally well-known act since then, performing in various venues. She continues to perform locally with bands. Karen has taught voice and piano since the 1990s and offers all styles, technique, sight singing, music theory, and stage presence.
