Steve's Bio:

Steve graduated from Berklee School of Music in 1987 with a Bachelors in Production and Engineering. He's been teaching since 1992 and offers bluegrass, country, jazz, rock, and classical styles. Steve has been a working musician since the early 1990's, including performing in several symphonies, and has performed on over 250 recordings. Steve teaches violin, fiddle, viola, upright bass, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, lap and pedal steel, dobro, and cello.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
