John has been a professional musician for over 20 years and teaches saxophone, steel guitar, dobro, guitar, bass, clarinet & flute. He continues to perform and record in the Nashville and Atlanta areas. Recently John worked on a project that featured a couple of solos by Steve Lukather, the guitarist with the group "TOTO." and recorded on a 3 CD project on Steel guitar, Dobro, Sax and Flute for Tommy Overstreet who is on a major record label and is sold in stores everywhere. This project was also nominated for a Grammy. John has worked with such artists as TG Shepherd, Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell and Crystal Gayle, both recording and helping in the arrangements. In 1991 he toured with Hank Williams, Jr., on the "Lone Wolf Tour" among other tours he has done over the past years. He as also done a lot of video and TV work. John teaches all the contemporary styles, especially country and blue grass.
