Susan

Susan began her journey with the piano in the 1990s and has since cultivated a distinguished career in both performance and music education. She attended Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ, where she completed four years of intensive study as a Humanities major with a minor in music. During her time at the university, she dedicated eight semesters to rigorous private piano instruction, music theory, and vocal training.

An active and versatile performer, Susan has graced the stage at various high-profile events, including performing at the University President’s Ball and providing music for traditional Mass services. Her leadership in the musical community extends to her current role as a Music Director for her church, where she serves as a pianist, vocalist, and choral leader, building a versatile understanding of both classical and sacred musical settings.

Teaching professionally since 2010, Susan is known for her easygoing and patient personality. She offers expert instruction in a wide variety of genres, including Classical, Light Jazz, Contemporary Christian, and modern styles. Whether a student is a young beginner discovering the piano for the first time or an adult returning to the keys, Susan tailors her methodical yet encouraging approach to build technical proficiency and a genuine love for making music.
