Steven graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT with a Bachelor in Jazz Studies where he studied both classical percussion and drum set from world class musicians. While at the university, he played in the department's Jazz Ensemble, Lab Bands, Jazz Combos, Latin Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Soul Collective, and had regular appearances with vocal ensembles. He is currently attending the Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ towards a Masters in Jazz Performance, with an expected graduation date of 2020. Outside of school, he's played regularly with musicians of all sorts, including jazz combos, cover bands, funk bands, church choirs, women's chorales, rock bands, electronic music acts, and as a studio drummer. He also performs regularly with a local band who has a solo project. Steven began teaching in 2016 and offers all styles.

If you continue past the first lesson, your card will be charged on the following business day for the remaining month's lessons and auto-billed on the 1st of each month after the first month. If you choose to cancel by the following business day, your card will be charged for that lesson. If you have a valid reason for being unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are FREE!
