Rebekah graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA with a Bachelors in Music, than transferred to The Boston Conservatory in Boston, MA, where she received her Masters in Opera Performance in 1999. Along with her performance degree, she also took pedagogy classes and finished her requirement for student teaching. Rebekah has been performing since the age of five, performing the National Anthem at baseball games in Louisiana. She continued to sing throughout her childhood as both an amateur and a semi-pro. During college, she performed in operas, scenes, and competitions, as well as an A Capella jazz ensemble. Rebekah also studied and performed in Italy during her last two summers at LSU before attending Boston Conservatory, and studied and performed in Germany. While at the conservatory, Rebekah performed many operatic roles, as well as out of school performances. After graduating, she continued to perform at summer festivals with well-known opera companies, and eventually moved to NYC, where she continued to study with world renown coaches. She has also performed in several opera company productions in NYC and performed as soloist for symphonies and concerts. Along with continuing to perform, she is also a frequent substitute soprano in several church choirs in the NYC area. Rebekah has been teaching since 1994, and offers classical, opera, contemporary, pop, jazz, musical theater, and country styles.
