Chanmi received her Bachelor's in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, in 2006. She has taught private lessons since 2001 and was a choir director/accompanist from 2006-2009. Chanmi has performed as an accompanist and for churches since 2011. She offers classical, sacred, gospel, and most contemporary styles.

Melody Music Studios was founded in 1989 by Kathi Kerr. We offer fun, tailored lessons for all instruments, levels, and styles, reading or by ear. Our goal is to build a strong musical foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment.

We offer a one business-day grace period to cancel with a guarantee: if you're unhappy with the teaching, the first 30 minutes are free. Card information is required at sign up, but it is not charged until the following business day if you're happy.

Future lessons can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice.

Our music teachers go through a rigorous hiring process. We check references and conduct background checks.
